Students will act as artists-in-residence at MLK Jr. School in this collaborative project to produce the KSMoCA International Art Fair at the King School Museum of Art, a contemporary art museum housed in the walls of a K-8 Public School. Students in the program will collaborate with a group of 25 elementary school student “docents”.

KSMoCA International Art Fair runs from August 11-13, 2017 as part of Converge 45. The project is organized by Harrell Fletcher, Lisa Jarrett, and is co-authored by Amanda Leigh Evans, MLK Jr. School students, PSU students, and community partners. The kid-scale art fair is designed to function like an international art fair where the students participate as gallerists and artists and work is available for purchase. KSMoCA Fair programming also includes booths by established galleries and institutions, lectures, panels, and performances.
